Alberto Alfaro is the owner and president of Solution People Inc. The company under the name Solution People has beed in business since 1993, but as the companygrew, Solution Peple turned into Solution People Inc. in 2002. Alberto graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University with a science degree in Education and from  Temple University with masters in Phsychology.
Alberto came from a second generation builders. He followed the path of his father and went into the home improvement industry. Alberto is continously following everything new that comes out in the industry with continuing education in business management, trade seminars, conferences and classes. He has been in the restoration business for several years with journeyman certifications for water damage restoration, fire and smoke restoration and master restoration certification form the IICR. His extensive experience in restoration has helped in many plumbing emegencies.

What do you do at Solution People Inc.?

As an owner, I focus on top quality craftsmanship and highly responsive customer service. I delight in seeing our clients evolve into raving fans as our designs are realized in beauty – and on time. In the large remodeling companies, homeowners often find that they do not have access to the people at the top. Generally, owners step back from the project once it’s established, and homeowners are denied access to the "higher-ups." At Solution People Inc., your satisfaction is our primary goal. As owner of Solution People Inc., I am personally involved in every project and available to you at all times. Should you need to speak with me – whatever the reason - your call will be returned promptly.

What's your favorite part about our work?

I go into people's homes and through my work I can improve the quality of their life by helping them to have a better home. For example when Mr. and Mrs. Shaffer had thier first child last year, they needed extra space, so we created for them a new room and redid the bathroom with a new Americast cast iron tub to keep the water hot for longer time for the enjoyment of their little son. Another example - Mr. Williams, who had to bring his elderly mother to live with him and his family, so we added a bathroom in the basement, that is wheelchair accessible with a walk-in shower with a slip-resistant base to accomodate the needs of his mother. 

What is your favourite project?

That would be the project we did for Mr. and Mrs. Massy, an elderly couple in Philadelphia. You know, I have elderly parents and I would hope that somebody will help them in the similar way when needed. Mr. and Mrs. Massy did not had electricity and water for almost 2 months. They were in a difficult financial situation and could not afford much for repairs. They called me because thier upstairs bathroom was falling down into the kitchen. The project was much more complicated than just redoing a bathroom. We had to do some structural repairs and fix a lot of electic and plumbing issues. The cost was way more than they could afford at the time and they were in a very difficult and sad position. So I worked with them  and  lowered the price by 50 %, and I also provided them with a payment plan for a portion of the cost to make it easier for them. They got everything done and now can use their own bathroom - and kitchen, instead of going to their daughter's house or the neighbor's whenever the need to use the bathroom.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Spare time? Are you kidding?..Well, every free moment I get I try to spend with the love of my heart - my 8 month old daughter, playing with her or teaching her about all the wanders of life and the world around her.
